1 cup couscous
1 ½ cup liquid (water or broth).
Bring 1 ½ cups of water (or broth) to a boil with ½ tsp salt. Add olive oil or butter if desired.
Stir in 1 cup of couscous, cover, and remove from the heat.
Let the couscous steam for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
Yields 2-3 servings
